Scott McCollister

Mr. McCollister began his career with the Patent and License Department of British Petroleum in 1987 before joining Fay Sharpe LLP (now Lippes Mathias LLP).  Scott concentrates his practice on advising clients in matters involving patent preparation and prosecution, patent infringement and validity matters, and trademark procurement and infringmentmatters. Scott serves as counsel to companies in various industries and is specifically experienced in areas such as abrasive and refractory ceramics, molten metal processing equipment, optical coatings and general lighting arts, semi-conductor light emitting devices, golf equipment, footwear, as well as synthetic rubber manufacturing processes and compositions. Mr. McCollister’s core practice includes an emphasis on transactional matters including licensing.
