After having studied law in the Universidad Central of Chile, Francisco Ríos was admitted in 1999 as an attorney before the Supreme Court of Chile. Prior to joining WIPO, he worked in the private sector in Chile, where he specialized in trademark law in litigation and non-litigation matters. With more than 15 years of experience in the area of Internet dispute resolution, Francisco Ríos currently holds the position of Legal Officer at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
