ASIPI Seminar in Puerto Rico begins

The picturesque island of Puerto Rico welcomed ASIPI to hold its Seminar on Intellectual Property in the Entertainment Industry. The program began with the meeting of the Administrative Council, where the Executive Committee reported in detail the activities and progress made since the last session held last December in Buenos Aires. The projects under development and those newly initiated were discussed in detail. Were also discussed the current situations in the exercise of Intellectual Property for ASIPI member countries, and how the association can defend the interests of its associates. The first academic day of the Seminar in Puerto Rico concludes successfully

The second day of the Seminar began with the opening ceremony providing formal commencement to the event. Ms. Maria del Pilar Troncoso, President of ASIPI, gave the welcoming remarks and introduced the central topic of the Seminar, explaining its importance to the current practice of IP. The IP Seminar in Puerto Rico successfully concludes

The round of panels of the last academic day began with the interesting theme “From Atari and Pac-Man to Pókemon Go and beyond: the industry of video games”, with the participation of speakers Octavio Saldaña (América Móvil SAB de CV) and Ben Golant (The Entertainment Software Association), and Pablo Daniel Solines joined the panel as the moderator (Solines & Asociados).
