Curriculum Vitae

Degree in Law from the Technological Institute of Higher Studies of Monterrey, with a specialization in International Legal Framework by the Pontifical University of Comillas in Madrid Spain, as well as with the accreditation by the World Intellectual Property Organization Academy in the areas of Industrial Property, Biotechnology and outstanding participation in the specialty course in Copyrights and Related Rights from the same institution. She also holds a master’s degree in Law from the Universidad Tecnológica de México and serves as General Director of the Motion Picture Association of Mexico, a subsidiary of the Motion Picture Association of America. MPA represents the interests of the 6 major Hollywood studios (Disney, Sony/Columbia, Paramount, Twentieth Century Fox, Universal and Warner Bros.) in the political and intellectual property protection aspects. She is also secretary of the Coalition for Legal Access to Culture, A.C., and active member of the intellectual property committee of the American Chamber of Mexico.
MPA’s activities in Mexico consist mainly in developing and establishing strategies that protect the interests of studies and improve the environment for the audiovisual industry. Encouraging respect for intellectual property rights. It reports on techniques and innovations in audiovisual content delivery platforms. Organizes workshops for the development of professionals in all aspects of the film industry.
