Paulo Parente Marques Mendes, lawyer and agent of Industrial Property for 30 years, is a managing partner of law firm Di Blasi, Parente & Associados and author and co-author of several books and articles on Intellectual Property. He is an active member of the OAB-RJ, both as an Advisor and Chairman of the Industrial Property and Anti-counterfeiting Committee (CPIP); and is also a Board Member of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI). Mr. Parente currently holds the titles of Chairman of the Brazilian group of the International League of Competition Law (LIDC) and Delegate of the Brazilian Group of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI); and is an active member of the International Trademark Association – INTA.
