Fátima González Toppi is a seasoned legal and sports attorney with extensive experience in commercial contracts, media rights, sponsorship and licensing. She holds a Law degree from the National University of Asunción, postgraduate credentials in Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, Master´s in mediation and alternative dispute resolution. She also completed the FIFA 1st Diploma in Football and a Master’s in Sports Law and Management at ISDE.
Since 2017, she has been a key legal leader at Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol (CONMEBOL), serving as Contracts Manager. In this role, she advises on complex international commercial agreements, including broadcast rights, sponsorships, and competitive procurement processes, and provides legal support across the organization. Her experience includes legal oversight of major football events such as the CONMEBOL Copa América and the finals of the CONMEBOL Libertadores
and Sudamericana tournaments across the 10 countries comprising CONMEBOL.
