José Antonio Fabara

José Antonio Fabara is an attorney with over ten years of professional experience, specializing in sports law, entertainment, and intellectual property. He currently leads the Sports and Entertainment Law practice at BUSTAMANTE FABARA. His expertise in sports matters, both in legal and management aspects, has enabled him to provide comprehensive counsel to athletes, clubs, federations, event organizers, talent agencies, and sponsors in the development of their projects.Regarding his academic background, he holds a law degree from Universidad de las Américas (Quito, Ecuador), a postgraduate specialization in Corporate Law from Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar (Quito, Ecuador), a Master’s degree in Sports Law and Management from Instituto de Derecho y Economía – ISDE (Madrid, Spain), and a diploma in Sports Management from Universidad de las Américas in partnership with FIFA and the International Centre for Sports Studies – CIES (Quito, Ecuador). He currently serves as National Delegate of Ecuador for ASIPI.
