Diego Palacios

Diego Palacios Constanza is an attorney and notary from Universidad Francisco Marroquín (Guatemala), specializing in competition law, intellectual property, and data protection. He currently serves as Coordinator of the Competition Law Department at Palacios Abogados,
where he leads projects related to economic regulation, anticompetitive practices, and comparative legal analysis.

He has experience in strategic legal advisory and in the development of complex legal analyses, actively contributing to the structuring of cross-border transactions and supporting decision-making in regulatory and competitive environments, and participating in academic and
regulatory forums at both national and international levels. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Law and Economics of Competition at Universidad del Istmo (Guatemala) and also holds a diploma in Intellectual Property from Universidad Austral (Argentina). His practice
combines technical legal analysis with a focus on innovation, institutional development, and the training of future legal professionals in the region.
