Partner at Gruenbaum, Possinhas IP, responsible for the Patents, biotechnology, systems, and plant varieties practice. Industrial Property Agent, Industrial Electronics Technician, and Biologist. Acts as an expert witness and technical assistant in judicial proceedings involving patents and industrial designs.
He is President of the Patents and Trade Secrets Committee of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI); Coordinator of the Bioeconomy and Sustainability Commission of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI); and Director of Studies and Coordinator of the Patents and Biotechnology Working Group of the Brazilian Association of Industrial Property Agents (ABAPI).
He has been recognized as a patent expert by IAM Patent 1000 (The World’s Leading Patent Professionals) from 2017 to 2026, included in the IAM Strategy 300 (The World’s Leading IP Strategists) in 2024 and 2025, and in the IAM Strategy 300 Global Leaders in 2025.
