With over 24 years of experience across leading in-house legal departments and law firms in Brazil and abroad, Fernanda brings a global perspective to her Marketing & Entertainment Law practices, working across intellectual property matters with a focus on strategic trademark portfolio management, copyright, protection and enforcement, litigation, complex commercial transactions, marketing and advertising compliance, as well as media, content, and emerging technologies.Fernanda is a dual-qualified attorney (Brazil and United States), and served as Marketing Properties Associate General Counsel for Global Food, Drinks at Mars, Inc, and as the Chief IP Counsel for the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee.
She has been a Member of CONAR (the Brazilian National Council of Advertising Self-Regulation) since 2017, co-Chairs INTA’s Global Advisory Board for LatAm and Caribbean and serves in ABPI’s board of directors.
