Elisangela Santos is the General Coordinator of Trademarks (since 2023) and Deputy Director (since 2025) of Trademarks, Industrial Designs, and Geographical Indications at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI, Brazil). With a career dedicated to trademark examination since 2002, she has also served for over a decade on the Commission for the Recognition of Highly Renowned Trademarks in Brazil. She holds a PhD (2017) and a Master’s degree (2011) in Intellectual Property and Innovation from the INPI Academy
