José Roberto Herrera

José Roberto Herrera Díaz is an attorney specialized in the fields of Intellectual Property, Entertainment Law and New Media Law. He holds an LLM in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property in Munich, Germany. Likewise, he has worked in the fields of Intellectual property in different sectors and has also teaching experience in the fields of IP law both in Colombia and Germany. Currently Mr. Herrera is partner at the law firm Herrera Díaz Abogados, professor of Entertainment Law in Universidad Javeriana, chairman of the Entertainment Law Committee of the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), Lead of the minimum standards SC of the Right of Publicity committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA), member of the Board of Director of the Colombian Copyright Center (CECOLDA) and Arbitrator on conflicts related to Intellectual Property issues attached to the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá.
