Lawyer from Universidad de Lima and Master in Global Business Management from Universidad del Pacífico.
He has extensive professional experience in the private sector and in the Peruvian public administration. He is a recognized expert in Intellectual Property, International Trade and International Trade Negotiations.
He has been Vice Minister of Foreign Trade of Peru, leading the negotiation of Intellectual Property in the FTA of Peru with the United States, as well as other negotiations of the Andean Community, the FTAA and other international forums.
Chair of the Intellectual Property Court of Appeals at INDECOPI Court, and Director of the Trademark and Patent Offices of said public entity.
Ex-President of the Peruvian Association of Industrial Property and Copyrights.
Ex- Member of the Ethics Committee of the National Society of Radio and Television.
He has been Director of the Master in Economic Administrative Law at Universidad del Pacífico. He is currently a professor of Intellectual Property at Universidad de Lima and Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
