Agronomist by the National Agrarian University – La Molina.

With more than 20 years of experience in the system of patents, industrial designs, protection of plant varieties, as well as issues related to intellectual property and biodiversity.

With specialization in various entities (World Intellectual Property Organization-WIPO; European Patent Office-EPO; International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants-UPOV; Canadian Intellectual Property Office, among the main ones) in the substantive examination of invention patents and plant variety protection.

She has actively participated in working groups aimed at developing national legislation for the protection of traditional knowledge and, subsequently, for its implementation.
