Federico Fischer

Federico is a member of FISCHER ABOGADOS (Montevideo, Uruguay) since 2011, where he advises on Intellectual Property, Technology Law, Entertainment and Audiovisual Law, and Administrative and Regulatory Law.

Graduated as an Attorney at Law from the Law School of the University of Montevideo (UM). Master of Laws (“LL.M”) in Intellectual Property Law, George Washington University School of Law, Washington DC. Adjunct Professor of Administrative Law I and II at the Law School of the University of Montevideo (UM). Professor of Public Law at the Humanities School of the UM.

Federico is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), where he is a member of the Trademark Office Practices Committee (TOPC) and of the Inter-American Association of Intelectual Property (ASIPI), where he is National Delegate for Uruguay as well as Secretary of the Entertainment Law Committee.

In his professional practice, among others, he advises clients on issues of Copyright and Entertainment and the Audiovisual Industry, including, among others, contractual, corporate, litigation, regulatory and compliance matters.

Federico has been recognized as “Rising Star” and “Up and Coming” in the field of intellectual property in Uruguay by publications such as The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, respectively.
