Luis Kudo

Bachelor of Law from the Technological University of Mexico with experience in tax, administrative and intellectual property law. Master’s degree in Taxes from the Panamerican University, Diploma in Environmental Administrative Law from the Iberoamerican University, Diploma in Fiscal Law from the Academy of Fiscal Law of the then Federal Tribunal of Fiscal and Administrative Justice, Seminar on Digital Technology Law 2.0 by the Mexican Bar Association, and Diploma in International Taxation from the Panamerican University.
Former Chief Legal Officer of AT&T Alestra, later migrated to the law firm Lexcorp Abogados where he started as a Senior Lawyer and ended as Partner leading the areas of public law. The first private sector litigating attorney in Mexico to open and participate in a public hearing before the Plenary of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, debating the unconstitutionality of the Single Rate Business Tax.
In 2012, he founded the law firm Kudo y Niño de Rivera Abogados, currently serving as Managing Partner. He is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), and the International Bar Association (IBA), actively participating in various committees. He is an author and writer in various legal publications.
Proud father of LEKO, Titi, and Leo. Admires Tom Brady, Peggy Guggenheim, Joaquin Sabina, and Frida Kahlo. Four-time marathon runner, ASIPI paddle champion, and golfer in training.
