ITS PRESENT AND FUTURE, ITS LIGHTS AND SHADOWS FOR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

This panel will discuss the present and future of dispute resolution methods, with emphasis in mediation and its utility for disputes in intellectual property. The panel will reveal the investigation performed by INTA on mediation in Latin America. Additionally, the panel will deal with mediation in Perú, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina: the manner in which it is performed, its regulations and its interaction with the Judiciary.
