Mladen Vukmir

Mladen Vukmir is the ECTA President in the 2022-2024 term and is an ECTA Supervisory Board Member. Mladen is the INTA President’s Award 2020 Recipient, has served as a member of the INTA Board of Directors and of the European Global Advisory Council. At INTA, he served also as the Brands and Innovation Committee Chair and ADR Committee Chair. He is the immediate Past AIPPI Croatia President. Mladen was appointed by the Government of the Republic of Croatia as an ICSID Conciliator and is an IMI certified mediator. Mladen is a mediator and a trainer of mediators. Mladen practices intellectual property law at a full service firm VUKMIR & ASSOCIATES, LLC, a firm he founded in 1991 in Zagreb, Croatia and is a Croatian and European trademark and patent representative. Mladen is working as a consultant to various international and national organizations such as the European Commission, CEFTA, the World Bank, GLG Group and has served on the Croatian accession to the European Union working group in the chapter dedicated to the intellectual property. He is a frequent public speaker and lecturer and has been teaching at the various institutions of higher learning such as the Law Faculty of the University of Zagreb, Croatia, American College of Management and Technology, a RIT school in Dubrovnik, Croatia, the Masaryk University in Brno, CZ and the LIPIT postgraduate program of the Georg-August University in Goettingen, Germany.
