ARUBA
The island is 32 kilometers long and almost 10 km wide at its widest point, with a total area of approximately 180 square kilometers.
We are located just below the hurricane belt, unlike many Caribbean islands, the weather is dry, so it rarely rains.
In the south and west of Aruba is Oranjestad, the capital kilometers of beaches and our city, some named among the best in the world. Here, you’ll find most hotels and all inclusive resorts in Aruba and Reina Beatrix International Airport (AUA).
In the interior of the island, it is the Arikok National Park, a desert where a variety of wildlife, cactus and spectacular rock formations preserved. You will also find some of the most breathtaking views of Aruba, where the ocean crashes against the rugged seashore.
On the northeast coast, along the windward coast, you will see the official symbols of our island: the fofoti trees. The constant and permanent trade winds have sculpted into graceful shapes in the landscape.
