Curriculum Vitae

Travis Johnson serves as Vice President – Legislative Affairs and Senior Counsel at the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC), in Washington, DC. In that capacity, he oversees all aspects of the organization’s government relations and policy development functions throughout the Americas, and serves as the IACC’s primary lobbyist.

While at the IACC, he has co-authored the IACC/INTA Model State Criminal Trademark Counterfeiting Statute; served as the principal author of criminal trademark legislation enacted in seven states; testified before a number of state legislatures and the U.S. Congress, and overseen the organization’s annual Special 301 submission to the U.S. Trade Representative.

Mr. Johnson holds degrees in Law, with a focus in Intellectual Property Rights (J.D., University of Florida, ’02), Political Management (M.A., George Washington University, ’09), and Political Science (B.A., University of Florida, ’99). He is a member of the Florida Bar, and the Association of Government Relations Professionals; and is a frequent lecturer on trademark counterfeiting and broader issues of IPR protection and enforcement and international trade.
