Curriculum Vitae

Journalist with a master’s degree in public opinion, with more than 20 years of experience in the development of public policy strategies, business competitiveness and union and business articulations. She has been at the forefront of creating and leading regional, national and international projects aimed at improving people’s quality of life and promoting productivity from the economy, culture and creativity.

She recently served as Vice Minister of Culture of the Ministry of Culture of Colombia, where she led public policy for the economic and social transformation of the country and its territories, based on art, culture and creativity as the main axes of development.
She has a recognized track record in management positions in the public and private sectors, such as the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, where she led the commitment of this entity to the Creative and Cultural Industries, developing specialized training programs for the sector, in business skills, director of the Bogotá MUsic Market BOmm and Bogotá Audiovisual Market BAM platforms and the Content Cluster Initiative. She was also general director of the Gilberto Alzate Avendaño Foundation, from there she managed the Bronx Creative District project and the economic reactivation of downtown Bogotá, from culture and creativity.

She has been a consultant, lecturer, and jury member at conferences and meetings, nationally and internationally, on issues of innovation, development of public policies in the creative and cultural economy, entrepreneurship, training, and creation in digital environments. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of entities such as Cocrea, Proimágenes, the Colombian Film Promotion Commission, the National Tourism Council, RTVC and the National Orange Economy Council.
