Beyond intellectual property. The illicit trade in goods from a comprehensive approach.

Crimes against intellectual property are usually connected with other crimes such as smuggling, terrorism, money laundering, etc., causing damage not only to the holder of such rights but also to the government and the consumer public. Additionally, the globalization of markets shows that the approach to this problem transcends borders; concluding in the need for a holistic approach to the subject.
This panel will be made up of representatives of international organizations that intervene in the fight against illicit merchandise trade, as well as companies that hold intellectual property rights, in order to discuss this problem and various actions implemented in order to address it.
