This program provides free legal advisory services on Intellectual Property matters across countries in the Americas and the European Union (Spain). It offers assistance to individuals or communities with limited financial resources or limited access to the Intellectual Property system, including organizations that serve these vulnerable groups,as well as micro and small businesses receiving legal advice on intellectual property and protecting their creations.
At ASIPI, we are committed to advancing knowledge and practice in Intellectual Property, as well as promoting the implementation and institutionalization of a Pro Bono work culture as a key element of our policy to support entrepreneurship and social responsibility.
We are convinced that by assisting individuals or communities with limited financial resources or access to the Intellectual Property system—who are unable to afford legal advice or protect their creations—we can generate a positive social and economic impact on them and their countries. At the same time, we will be fulfilling several of ASIPI’s objectives, such as the education, promotion, and defense of Intellectual Property in the region.
