Alfonso Rivera

Alfonso has been practicing intellectual property law for 23 years. Since 2000 he is part of the Ecuadorian firm TOBAR ZVS.

​He has directed and executed anti-piracy campaigns in Ecuador for the world’s leading entertainment and software companies. He is also an expert in plant varieties and appellations of origin. He has been the National Delegate of ASIPI in Ecuador since 2021.

​He is currently the coordinator of activities for the Andean Community of the European Union’s Intellectual Property Cooperation Project: IP Key Latin America.
