President of the Council for the Protection and Preservation of the Ritual Ceremony of the Voladores, Mexico.

Licentiate in education for the indigenous environment. Certified speaker of the Tutunaku language by the Academy of Indigenous Languages AVELI. Traditional teacher.
Since 1996 he is part of the group of voladores in the municipality of Coxquihui.
In 2010 he was appointed representative of the group of flyers of Coxquihui. He has managed funding for the development of traditional costumes, in different institutions, such as municipalities, National Commission for the Development of Indigenous Peoples (CDI), among others.
In 2011 he was appointed Vocal Advisor of the highlands in the Council of Flyers, where he was in charge of the coordination of flyers of the municipalities of Zozocolco de Hidalgo, Coxquihui, Coahuitlán and Cerro Grande municipality of Filomeno Mata.
In 2012 was created the school of flying children of the sierra in the community of Arenal, Coxquihui, where he was appointed coordinator to work together with three teachers flyers and serve 25 students between children and youth.
Due to the success in the work done in support of the council of voladores and in the community school of voladores children of the sierra; in 2019 he was appointed President of the Council for the Protection and Preservation of the Ritual Ceremony of Voladores, a position he holds until now; becoming the largest management in which he has a relationship with all the voladores of the Totonacapan region and those of different states of the Republic, where his main objective is the protection, preservation of the culture and wisdom of the native peoples, as well as the dissemination of the importance of the Ritual Ceremony for indigenous peoples.
“The teaching is one of the fundamental tools in the defense and preservation of the Ceremonia Ritual de los Voladores, a rite that dates back to 600 B. C. and constitutes an essential element of the Totonaco indigenous people’s cultural heritage and identity.”
