Fernando Ponce Sáez

Engineer in Business Administration and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Las Américas, Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial and Intellectual Property, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
He has a professional career of more than 25 years related to intellectual property matters, both in transnational companies and law firms.
He joined Cencosud in 2010 with the creation of the Regional Own Brand Management and since that date he has led the entire strategy and management of intellectual property assets, which allows standardize brands for different businesses of the company, generating synergies and good practice processes.
He is regularly invited to conferences to speak on brand management and protection strategies.

He has been featured in various publications as a leader in intellectual property asset management. In recent years, the prestigious IP news outlet, World Trademark Review (www.worldtrademarkreview.com), includes him among the 300 INHOUSE professionals who are leaders in the world in the strategic management of brands with the highest standards and who add real value to their organizations.
