Gloria Niembro

Gloria joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa in 2020 to lead the intellectual property practice, and was promoted to partner in 2023. Obtained her Law Degree and graduated with honors from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). Gloria formerly worked at Ladas & Parry LLP, in New York, after having completed a Master of Laws at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She passed the New York bar exam and was admitted to practice law in such state in 2019.

Gloria has a Diploma in Privacy, Regulation and Data Governance, by the Legal Studies Division of CIDE.

She is an active member of AMPPI (Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) – in which she currently participates as a Board Member for the 2023-2024 period, as well as INTA (International Trademark Association), ABA (American Bar Association), and IBA (International Bar Association).

Gloria’s legal practice focuses on intellectual property consulting and litigation, specializing in trademark law, copyright, and industrial and commercial information protection. She has participated in numerous corporate operations with tax implications, related to intangible assets, and has been the author of various articles published in national and international magazines.
