Manuel has a BSc (Physics), a MSc (Nuclear Physics) and a PhD (Electrical Engineering), from National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Manuel has published scientific articles as a doctoral scientist in the field of Nuclear Physics, Elemental Particle Detectors, as well as Computer Simulations of Atomic, Nuclear and Radioactive interactions. Since 2006 he has collaborated in the firm “Uhthoff, Gomez Vega & Uhthoff”, working in the technical area of Patents, specifically in the Areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Designs and Utility Models, focused on Information Technologies, Software, Internet , Telecommunications, Electronic Commerce, Mobile Devices, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Metaverse, Machine Learning, and Blockchains, participating in the drafting, searches, technical analysis, infringements and FTO, of designs and patents in Mexico and abroad, as well as the filing, monitoring and processing of PCT, PPH, and Hague Designs applications. He has been a speaker at several UNAM seminars, is a member of the Mexican Association for Industrial Property Protection (AMPPI) and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), and within AMPPI, he is the current Chair of the Subcommittee of Mechanical and Electrical Inventions.
