Peru: National Intellectual Property Policy
On January 28 and 29 our Director Juli Gutierrez Zanelli participated, on behalf of ASIPI, in the National Consultation Workshop on National Intellectual Property Policy of Peru currently under development by WIPO and INDECOPI. The central objective of this policy is that “intellectual property constitutes an essential element for the increase of productivity and competitiveness in priority sectors, facilitating innovation, knowledge and creativity as pillars of the country’s economic and social growth.”
