Today, April 26, WIPO celebrates the World Intellectual Property Day under the slogan “IP and SMEs: Taking Your Ideas to Market”

This year the protagonists of this celebration are small and medium-sized enterprises, considered an engine for growth in a post-pandemic world. We will take a closer look at the economic importance of SMEs and how they can use IP rights to build stronger and more competitive businesses. Due to the great economic difficulties that we are experiencing as a result of the global pandemic, it is essential that together we support SMEs and promote creativity to achieve the economic recovery of the countries and the generation of employment.

During this month of April, ASIPI has programmed a series of webinars in which we will learn about the experience of SMEs and how knowledge of IP has been essential for business competitiveness.

ASIPI joins WIPO and the local and global intellectual property communities to work together for a rapid recovery from the ravages of the pandemic.
