The panel will address and discuss the development of the audiovisual industry in the last 20 years, with special emphasis on the Mexican audiovisual industry and the Latin American region. Among the topics to be discussed are the change in the content distribution model, the advent of OTT and CTV services, exclusive content on streaming platforms, their impact on the traditional linear television model and on the strategy and protection of Intellectual Property assets. The panel will also address specific considerations in the field of Intellectual Property for productions developed for OTT and linear models, as well as the impact that artificial intelligence could have on the industry, more specifically on the creation of content and the development of productions.
